Eastern – Kenly, Micro, Selma & Smithfield, NC, March 16, 2013 Western – Charlotte, Indian Trail & Matthews NC, March 9, 2013 Basketball is such a popular sport amongst Special Olympics athletes, and cheerleading continues to grow. As a result, the state-level competition has been split into two regional one-day events.
