 Basketball & Cheerleading Tournament
Eastern – Kenly, Micro, Selma & Smithfield, NC, March 17, 2012 Western – Charlotte, NC, March 3, 2012 Basketball is such a popular sport amongst Special Olympics athletes, and cheerleading continues to grow. As a result, the state-level competition has been split into two regional one-day events. Nearly 1500 athletes total competed at the state level this year.
