2012 Schedule 

French-Swiss Ski College President Jim Cottrell first organized the Southeast Region Games in 1977.  Special Olympics North Carolina hosts this event every February, inviting athletes and coaches from the Southeastern states including Georgia,Florida and South Carolina as well as our home state to compete in Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding.

 

 
 

Volunteers

The Southeast Winter Games will need the help of 80 volunteers to ensure the event is a great success. Both Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding will require 20 volunteers per day. Online volunteer registration will be posted closer to the event.

  • Register as an individual or group to help with competition, medical, power team and more. Review the Winter Games job descriptions to see which best suits you.
  • Have children under 14 who want to volunteer? Sign them up as Spirit Squad volunteers. They will receive a Spirit Squad t-shirt and pom-pom.
