2013 Plane Pull Results

Five-person teams compete to determine who can pull a 30,000-pound regional jet the fastest at the 2013 Special Olympics NC Plane Pull®! This unique event is presented by Credit Suisse and sponsored by Delta Airlines, ResCare, HMS Host, Delta, RDU International Airport, UPS, Food Lion, Sheetz, Fitness Connection, Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, Hooters, and Mac’s Tavern of Cary to benefit the NC Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics North Carolina.

Why should my company/group participate?

The Plane Pull® is an important fundraiser for Special Olympics North Carolina and helps to provide 38,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to receive training and compete in 19 Olympic-type sports.   The Plane Pull® is also a unique team building activity for groups.  It requires participants to come together as a team to achieve a very daunting task — pull an airplane 20 feet.  If a team can pull a 30,000 lb aircraft 25 feet, they can accomplish anything!

Contact Dot Kohlbach at 919 719-7662 x 119 with any questions about the event.
