Are you looking for that next big rush of adrenaline?  Have you ever dreamed of rappelling down a sky scraper?  You can do it and help Special Olympics North Carolina raise funds at the same time!

Special Olympics North Carolina is hosting two Over the Edge events in 2012.  Events will be held in Downtown Raleigh on Oct. 6 at the Wells Fargo Capitol Center Building on Fayetteville Street and another event will be held in Uptown Charlotte on Oct. 13 at The VUE Charlotte on West 5th Street!

In order to participate you must raise $1,000 by collecting donations from your friends and family.  We’ll even provide you an online fundraising page on FirstGiving.com to make it easy!

Don’t like heights, but want to be  a part of the event?  You can still have fun and raise money for SONC.  Challenge your boss to participate in the Toss Your Boss program.  You can send your boss Over the Edge by asking your co-workers to help collect the $1,000 registration fee in the name of your boss.  It’s the best Boss Appreciation gift anyone could give!

There are a limited number of spots at each location, so don’t delay and sign up yourself or your boss by submitting the form below today!  You are only guaranteed a rappelling spot once you reach the $1,000 fundraising goal.

The minimum weight to rappel is 110 lbs.  Participants must be at least 14 years old with parent/guardian’s permission for those under 18 years old.  If you do not meet these guidelines and are still interested in participating, contact Susan Doggett.
