Cam's Champs Kickoff 2009-2010

Three Special Olympics North Carolina athletes received a private tour Nov. 23 of the Hurricanes locker room, weight-lifting gym and practice facilities by Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward.  The tour marked the kickoff of Cam’s Champs season-long fundraising campaign for a fourth straight year.  The campaign will run through Feb. 26.  The public is asked to join Cam’s Champs with a donation of $5 or more.  Every donation receives great incentive prizes and can qualify for a monthly raffle for Hurricanes gear.  To become a Cam’s Champs team member, visit www.camschamps.com.

2009 Penn Relays

Special Olympics North Carolina Wake County athletes Jon Michael Ogus, Jeremy Banks, Zach Goodrich and Samuel Flores along with coaches Tony Flores and Bill Goodrich made the trip up to Philadelphia for the Penn Relays which is the largest track event in the world!!
