More than 1000 athletes, 500 coaches, 500 family members, and 350 volunteers will convene in Jacksonville and Winston-Salem March 6 for the 2010 Special Olympics North Carolina Basketball & Cheerleading Eastern and Western Tournaments. Athletes from across the state will compete in basketball individual skills, three-on-three and five-on-five team play as well as cheerleading.
